Investigating... my pets

I am a shameless animal lover and have a menagerie at home, including my dog Emma, my fat-tailed gecko Alex and my clownfish (which I won't name because as soon as I name saltwater fish, they enter that big fishtank in the sky). Here are pictures of my pets at home:

This is Quark. Quark was a rescue as a kitten. She posesses some ucanny abilities- she can quantum tunnel from the bathroom into my office, right thorugh a closed door, she goes from charm(ing) to strange in a matter of picoseconds, and most importantly, if you observe her, her behavior changes.

Alex is a very docile fat-tailed gecko. A former classroom pet, somehow he has ended up in my house. Now if only I could get his dinner to stop chirping...

I must also remember the fallen of the great anemone disaster of 2003. I went to visit some family in New Orleans for a couple of days, and had to leave the fish in the care of others during my absence. Unfortunately, I think it got too hot in my apartment, or something with the water chemistry went wrong while I was away, and the anemone died. One thing you have to remember about anemones is that when they die, they spew lots of nasty chemicals and poisons into the water, thus killing all fish not immune to the anemone's stings. That is why the clownfish was able to survive the three days in poisionous water.

The culprit sea anemone.

The green serpent star looking at his reflection.

I liked to call this one "Dory" because this jewled damsel swam around in circles.
